After 10 years of managing several multi-family developments, I decided it was time to go into business for myself.  I felt there was a real void in the market of general contractors who were both hands-on in the field & self-performed nearly all of their own work, as we always have & will continue to do at Blade Construction.

Now, we've been doing this for 17 years, and continue to see our clients return. To me, that's the true measure of success.

Colin Uter, founder, began his construction career after graduating from Springhill College in Mobile, AL.  He managed several multifamily & commercial developments before deciding to go into business for himself in 2008.  Colin surrounds himself with a team of highly trained professionals to ensure customer satisfaction.
